Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Remastered Review

By J K July 22, 2021

If you are a big fan of Assassin’s Creed like most of us do, then you are going to love this game. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Remastered review will give you a quick tour on what you are going to see when you play this game. Just like any other awesome Assassin’s Creed franchise, you will never be disappointed. This game has a lot of similarities with any other game from the Assassin’s creed franchise. But despite all of its similarities, this game is still worth the time.

The game is focused on different characters instead of only having one main centered character. You will see a lot of assassins that is going to be involved in the story line. That is why the game itself is named as Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood Remastered.

This game, which focuses on exploring the memory of a character named Desmont, was born with a relatively new concept, when compared to other games that carry similar gameplay. Assassin's Creed is able to combine elements of open-world games like Grand Theft Auto with thick stealth elements like Hitman, combined with various historical stories that can be transformed into an interesting plot. Assassin's Creed grew into a hugely successful franchise.

Various historical elements that we had learned through textbooks in the past, were re-visualized by Assassin's Creed in amazing detail. We are not only talking about the details of the building, but also the atmosphere, character, habits of the people, culture, and other things that accompany it. In-depth learning about all these things allows Ubisoft to present a game theme and feel that is second to none.

When Assassin's Creed is born, you take on the role of Alltair, the assassin during the crusade. The next sequel brings you to a new character, Ezio who is an assassin in Renaissance Italy. His latest series, Brotherhood, still takes you on Ezio's unfinished mission. Which is the main character from Assassin Creed 1 and 2 franchise.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood has been released for consoles since late last year, but not for PC. PCs become "stepchildren" for no apparent reason from Ubisoft as the publisher. To treat the disappointment of PC gamers, Ubisoft promises improved graphics quality and three-dimensional support for Brotherhood.

That promise I have to admit is very well fulfilled when I compare the XBOX 360 version with the PC version. You can get a clearer picture of this through the Assassin's Creed Brotherhood preview that I released some time ago. How about the whole game that is presented? Read on for this review.

Plot Of Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Remastered Review

Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Remastered

This game is one of the best PS4 story games. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood is a sequel to Assassin's Creed 2 by continuing the same plot. If you haven't played the previous series, Brotherhood will only lead you to a complex story that will be difficult to understand, preventing you from getting the maximum gaming experience.

The story will start from the end of Assassin's Creed 2. After Ezio managed to defeat Borgia and meet Minerva, the mysterious goddess, a message about the end of the world was delivered. Ezio returned to Monteriggioni to live a life he thought would end in peace. How come? The Apple of Eden was already in the hands of the Assassins, Borgia had lost, and Monteriggioni had grown into a bustling city, it was impossible for anything to go wrong in that life. However, it turns out that Ezio's struggle is still not over.

Borgia's children Cesare and Lucrezia decide to take revenge on their father's behalf. This incestuous couple with a cold heart destroy Monteriggioni and kill Mario, Ezio's mentor and uncle. In a state of serious injury, Ezio was forced to retreat from the battlefield and devise a plan of revenge. Next, you will play as Ezio who has a simple mission: destroy the Borgia family, take back the Apple of Eden, and restore Rome.

Of course, Ezio will still be assisted by other Assassins who have faithfully accompanied him since the beginning of the struggle. There is a younger sister and mother who decide to join the Courtesans clan to help Ezio achieve his goals. The Thief and Mercenary Guild also still showed their support for Ezio without the slightest hesitation. You will also still find Machiavelli and Da Vinci as characters in history who managed to fit into the story well thanks to the genius of Ubisoft.

Will Ezio be able to rediscover the Apple of Eden is a big question that is asked by all of the fans. We will not be giving you any spoilers in this Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood remastered review. So you are going to have to find that out by yourself.

Of course you have to find the answer yourself because indeed the pleasure of playing Assassin's Creed is opening the veil of the mystery. To be sure, you will find an ending that further extends the existing question mark, a sign that this franchise will not die in the near future. There are similarities between this Assassin’s Creed and the Black Flag game they have launched earlier.

Summary

You could instead try other games before this one first. In order to understand and enjoy the game, you need to play the first and second game. And if you have not then you will not understand the true plot of Ezio Auditore’s adventures.

You can download and buy this game from Steam or even other providers. They usually come in prices such as $20 and even as low as $10 if you are lucky. Wait for the sales to come out and that will be the most perfect time. That is all about today’s Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood remastered review.
