Buy Lost Soul Aside in Australia

Lost Soul Aside for PS5 is the long-awaited, super-stylish action-adventure RPG from Shanghai studio Ultizero Games, published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. You play as Kaser, a young rebel whose younger sister Louisa has her soul stolen by the Voidrax – mysterious invaders from another dimension. Teaming up with Arena, a powerful dragon-like companion, Kaser sets out on a heroic quest to bring Louisa back and save humanity. If you love fast, flashy combo-driven combat in the vein of Devil May Cry, Bayonetta and Ninja Gaiden, wrapped in a cinematic, Final Fantasy-inspired world, this is one for your PS5 collection.

Lost Soul Aside began life in 2014 as a solo project by creator Yang Bing, before growing into a full studio production that finally launched on PlayStation 5 in August 2025. Its highlight is the combat: switch between the sword, greatsword, poleblade and scythe in the middle of a combo, call on Arena's powers, and take on towering bosses across snowy vistas, ancient ruins and strange alien dimensions.

Switch Weapons Mid-Combo

Arena doesn't just fight beside Kaser – the dragon transforms into his weapons. Swap freely between four weapon types to change the reach and impact of every attack, chaining quick sword strikes into ground-shaking greatsword slams or sweeping scythe arcs. Collect a wide range of melee weapons, each with its own stats, and upgrade and customise them with special weapon fragments discovered on your journey.

Harness the Power of Arena

Unlock a variety of Arena Power abilities to boost your attack damage, heal mid-battle and raise protective shields. Build up the Fusion Gauge with combos and skills, then unleash Arena's claws on your enemies in devastating Fusion attacks that grow stronger as Kaser progresses. Between battles you'll also explore, platform and solve puzzles as you hunt down the soul crystal fragments needed to face the Voidrax leader, Aramon.

Built for PlayStation 5

Lost Soul Aside makes full use of the PS5 hardware, with striking 4K visuals, ultra-fast SSD loading, Tempest 3D Audio and DualSense haptic feedback and adaptive triggers that let you feel every blow. It is also PS5 Pro Enhanced, and free post-launch updates have added the wave-based Surge of Voidrax combat mode.
