Buy Trails in the Sky: 2nd Chapter in Australia

Trails in the Sky: 2nd Chapter for Nintendo Switch is Nihon Falcom's full 3D remake of the fan-favourite Trails in the Sky SC, continuing the story exactly where Trails in the Sky: 1st Chapter left off. Estelle Bright is now a senior bracer of the Liberl Kingdom, but on the eve of the Queen's Birthday Festival, Joshua reveals the dark truth of his past and vanishes into the night. Armed with only his harmonica and unshakable determination, Estelle sets out on a quest to find her partner and confront the shadowy society known as Ouroboros.

Rebuilt with fully 3D environments, refreshed character models, new animated cinematics and updated English and Japanese voice acting, 2nd Chapter raises the stakes across Liberl and beyond. Critics have hailed it as one of the best RPGs of the year, with an OpenCritic top critic average of 92 and a Metacritic score of 90, making it a must-play for JRPG fans and Trails veterans alike.

The Search for Joshua Begins

The capital in flames, a colossal airship darkening the skies and the looming threat of the Shining Ring: Liberl faces the greatest crisis in its history. As Estelle and her allies chase Joshua's trail, they uncover a web of intrigue woven by the Enforcers of Ouroboros, with fan-favourite characters joining the party as playable members along the way.

More Combat Options Than Ever

The seamless blend of real-time field action and tactical turn-based Command Battles returns, now with even more tools at your disposal. Unleash new Crafts and S-Crafts, link your characters' attacks during Quick Battles with the new Brave Rush, and make full use of the orbment system to cast powerful Arts. Away from battle, enjoy new minigames like fishing and card games, plus cooking with your companions.
