Buy Red Dead Redemption in Australia

Red Dead Redemption for PS5 brings Rockstar Games' legendary 2010 Western back on a modern disc, now running natively on PlayStation 5 with 60 frames per second, HDR and resolutions up to 4K. Set in 1911 as the American frontier fades, you play as John Marston, a former outlaw forced by federal agents to hunt down the members of his old gang – or never see his wife and son again. It's one of the most acclaimed open-world games ever made, and the perfect way to experience the story that leads on from Red Dead Redemption 2.

This PS5 edition includes the complete Game of the Year content, with the full single-player campaign and the cult-favourite Undead Nightmare expansion on one disc. Ride across the dusty plains of New Austin, the cattle country of West Elizabeth and the revolution-torn lands of Nuevo Paraíso in Mexico, as Marston's journey for redemption pulls him deeper into the violence he tried to leave behind.

The Wild West at 60fps

Rebuilt for current-gen hardware by Rockstar with Double Eleven and Cast Iron Games, this is the smoothest Red Dead Redemption has ever played on a console. Shootouts with Dead Eye targeting feel sharper at 60fps, while HDR makes the desert sunsets, storms and gunfire glow on your 4K TV – a big step up from the original PS3 release and the 2023 PS4 port.

Life on the Frontier

Between story missions there's a whole frontier to live in. Hunt wildlife and sell pelts, collect bounties, break wild horses, help (or rob) the strangers you meet on the trail, and try your luck at poker, blackjack, Liar's Dice and horseshoes in saloons and camps. Your choices shape Marston's honour and fame, changing how townsfolk and lawmen react to you.

Undead Nightmare Included

A mysterious plague has turned the frontier's living into the hungry dead, and John Marston must ride out to find a cure. Undead Nightmare is a full standalone adventure with its own story, zombie-blasting weapons, mythical mounts and a whole new way to see the Wild West – and it's all included on the disc.
