Buy Painkiller in Australia

Painkiller for PS5 is a brutal, fast-paced reimagining of the cult 2004 first-person shooter, developed by Polish studio Anshar Studios and published by Saber Interactive's 3D Realms label. Sentenced to Purgatory for your sins against Heaven, you are offered one last shot at redemption by the Voice of the Creator: become a Champion and stop the fallen angel Azazel before he unleashes his demonic armies on Earth. Expect wall-to-wall demon slaying, gothic hellscapes and a pounding metal soundtrack.

Where the original was a solo campaign, this new Painkiller is built around co-op. Team up with up to two friends online, or jump in solo with AI-controlled Champions at your side, and battle through vast Purgatory biomes packed with demon hordes, hidden secrets and three monstrous Nephilim – the children of Azazel.

A Classic Arsenal, Reforged

Every Champion carries the iconic Painkiller – the spinning-blade melee weapon that grinds ammo out of enemies – plus two more weapons chosen from an arsenal of six: the Electrodriver, Stakegun, Shotgun, SMG, Hand Cannon and Rocket Launcher. Each weapon has primary and secondary fire modes, with heavy, punchy feedback that makes every shot land hard.

Tarot Cards and Fluid Movement

Collect and equip tarot cards to boost your Champion's abilities, and combine them with your teammates' cards to tear through the toughest waves. Jump, dash and grapple-hook your way across sprawling arenas as you chain kills, chase objectives and take down towering bosses. Choose from four Champions – Ink, Void, Sol and Roch – and earn your salvation with no microtransactions to get in the way.
