Nightmare The Lunatic - Nintendo Switch

Buy Nightmare: The Lunatic for Nintendo Switch in Australia

Nightmare: The Lunatic for Nintendo Switch is a fast, stylish roguelite action RPG from Korean indie studio Maetdol Games. A sleeper hit on PC, where it earned a Very Positive rating from players, it now comes to Nintendo Switch as a physical release, published by CFK with physical editions from SelectaPlay.

You wake with no memory of who you are, trapped in a never-ending nightmare. Monsters tear you down again and again, and death is just the beginning of another attempt. With the help of the mysterious Dream Merchant, who was dragged into the nightmare alongside you, you must dive ever deeper into the dream, grow stronger with every run and hunt down the source of the nightmare to finally break free.

Swift, Stylish Parry Combat

Combat is all about precision. Dash, dodge and parry your way past powerful monsters, learning their attack patterns and punishing every opening with flashy counterattacks and special moves. Each region is guarded by an intense boss battle with its own arsenal of attacks, and taking them down reveals new clues about how to escape.

Build Your Own Arsenal

Choose up to three weapons to carry into each run and swap between them on the fly depending on the situation. Experiment with combinations to find a setup that suits your playstyle or squeezes out maximum efficiency. As you play, you'll unlock new contracts and abilities that let you shape your character build and strengthen your base stats, so every failed attempt still moves you closer to the end.

A Different Nightmare Every Run

True to the roguelite genre, dungeon layouts change with every playthrough, keeping each adventure fresh and unpredictable. Fall in battle and it's right back to the start, ready to try again with new weapons, new builds and new strategies.
