Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection - Nintendo Switch

Buy Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection in Australia

Mortal Kombat: Legacy Kollection for Nintendo Switch is the most complete celebration of Mortal Kombat's early years ever released. Restored by retro specialists Digital Eclipse and published by Atari, this collection (often searched as the Mortal Kombat Legacy Collection) gathers 11 classic Mortal Kombat games from 1992 to 2003, from the original arcade hit that changed fighting games forever to rare spin-offs that haven't been playable in over two decades. It's a must-have for anyone who grew up yelling "Get over here!" at the arcade.

Beyond the games themselves, the Kollection is built around Digital Eclipse's acclaimed interactive documentary format. Explore behind-the-scenes history, development stories and archival material that reveal how Mortal Kombat was made and how it changed the way the world looked at video games. Add online play with rollback netcode and instant access to every hidden secret, and you've got the definitive way to experience classic Mortal Kombat on Nintendo Switch.

11 Classic Mortal Kombat Games

Mortal Kombat (1992)
Mortal Kombat II (1993)
Mortal Kombat 3 (1995)
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (1995)
Mortal Kombat Trilogy (1996)
Mortal Kombat 4 (1997, arcade)
Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero (1997)
Mortal Kombat: Special Forces (2000)
Mortal Kombat Advance (2001)
Mortal Kombat: Deadly Alliance (2002, Game Boy Advance)
Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition (2003, Game Boy Advance)

Many of the classics are included in several versions, including the original arcade releases alongside home and handheld ports from systems such as the SNES, Sega Genesis, Game Boy, Game Gear and Sega 32X, so you can compare every take on the games you remember.

Rare Spin-Offs Finally Return

For long-time fans, one of the biggest surprises is the return of Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero and Mortal Kombat: Special Forces. These PlayStation-era action-adventure spin-offs stepped away from one-on-one fighting and have been out of print for more than 20 years. Mythologies follows the original Sub-Zero through a side-scrolling adventure complete with cheesy live-action cutscenes, making it a fascinating piece of Mortal Kombat history to finally own again.

Online Kombat and No More Secrets

Take the fight online with rollback netcode, designed to keep every punch, uppercut and Fatality responsive, or battle a friend locally for classic couch versus action. The No More Secrets feature lets you unlock all secret characters, change game settings and access hidden developer menus at the touch of a button, so you can play the classics exactly the way you want.
