When the desecrated body of a woman is found drowned, her twin sister Giulia, the young daughter of a German soldier, is left to confront the trauma of loss while a far darker truth begins to surface.

Blurring the line between reality, superstition, and the horrors of war, Giulia's search for the truth is shrouded in mysterious folklore as conflict draws ever closer to home.
