Curse of the Sea Rats for Nintendo Switch is a hand-drawn Metroidvania developed by Barcelona's Petoons Studio and published by PQube, following four prisoners cursed into rats by a vengeful pirate witch aboard a doomed ship. The ship's captain offers amnesty to whoever can hunt down the witch and break her curse, sending the four transformed prisoners on a swashbuckling, platform-heavy adventure.

Each of the four playable characters brings unique abilities to the table, letting players switch between them at designated points to overcome different platforming and combat challenges throughout the ship's twisting, hand-drawn environments.
